SAN DIMAS, CALIF., Dec.21, 2010 – AQUASave® Inc., “The Smart Irrigation Network” committed to saving water, saving money and staying green, today announced it has received the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) state-wide trophy award for sustainability in recognition of its production of Golden State Water Company’s Water Conserving Demonstration Garden and Retrofit project.

It is with great sadness that our families and AQUASave Inc. announce the passing of Co-Founder and Technical Director Bob Baier on October 19, 2010 while vacationing with his wife, Lynn, in Hawaii.

Bob devoted his entire life to the landscape and irrigation industry spanning a career of over forty-five years. A graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Soil Science and Agronomy, Bob was an industry leader in soils, plant science, and irrigation. As a past State President and Life Member of the California Landscape Contractor's Association (CLCA), Bob led the Xeri-Scape water conservation movement of the early 1980's and was instrumental in furthering this and many other vital water conservation programs.
